Protective Caps for M8 Panel Connectors

Camarillo, CA, January 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Binder-USA has released protective caps for its Series 718, M8 panel connectors. The caps provide IP67-rated environmental protection for un-mated panel-mount sockets. The M8 connectors are used for sensors in the automation industry.

Each protective cap attaches directly via a loop to the panel-mounted connector eliminating the need for screws. The cap is designed to provide an IP67-rated environmental protection from liquids and debris while the panel connector is detached from its mating connector. The new M8 protective caps are available for both male and female connectors.
