Air Ambulance Card & Rhode Island Dental Association Offer Members Protection
Rhode Island Dental Association offers members discounted Air Ambulance Card memberships. Air Ambulance Card transports sick and injured members home to hospital of their choice. Memberships give domestic and international travelers peace of mind and financial protection
Birmingham, AL, January 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Rhode Island Dental Association (RIDA) has endorsed Birmingham-based Air Ambulance Card® and is partnering with the company to offer society members discounted medical evacuation. Under the partnership, members who are sick or injured 150 miles or more from home, domestically or internationally, will be flown home to the hospital of their choice.
“The RIDA feels this benefit to be of considerable value to its members as there is ‘No Place Like Home’,” said RIDA Executive Director Valerie Celentano.
RIDA members can purchase discounted Air Ambulance Card memberships through a link on the association’s website, www.RIDental.com “Membership in Air Ambulance Card eliminates concerns about the high cost of a medical flight. Members can fly home to be treated by doctors they know at a hospital they trust, and they never receive a bill or file a claim form,” said Stan Bradley, managing director of Air Ambulance Card.
The Rhode Island Dental Association was founded in Providence on July 2, 1878 by a group of seven dentists. Today, more than 600 members, representing over 90 percent of all practicing dentists in this state, belong to the Association. The object of the Association is to improve the dental health of the public and to promote the art and science of dentistry.
Air Ambulance Card® flies sick or injured members home to the US or Canadian hospital of their choice when they are hospitalized 150 miles or more from home, domestically or internationally. The membership program offers services for a period of one year to families or individuals, and corporate accounts. Air Ambulance Card memberships are available to residents of the U.S. and Canada and cost $195 per year for individuals and $295 per year for families.
