Founder of Hain Capital Group to Present at GoldenNetworking.com's Distressed Investing Leaders Forum 2010

New York, NY, January 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Robert Koltai, Founder and Portfolio Manager, Hain Capital Group, LLC, will participate at GoldenNetworking.com's Distressed Investing Leaders Forum 2010, February 26th, in New York City. For the past twenty years, Mr. Koltai has been involved in sourcing, trading and packaging trade claims and other non-traditional assets of debtors in bankruptcy. He will be joining a prestigious list of 20+ Distressed Investing practitioners and experts at Kirkland & Ellis' headquarters.

After working in the US Bankruptcy Courts for the Central District of California, Mr. Koltai developed a trading platform for illiquid trade claims at Oppenheimer & Company. He has managed the purchase and disposition of more than $4 billion of trade claims for a wide variety of hedge funds. In 2002, Mr. Koltai founded Hain Capital Group to further develop opportunities in the distressed marketplace. For the past seven years, Mr. Koltai has traded thousands of claims and Hain Capital has expanded its offerings to include multiple value fund products. Mr. Koltai is known as a pioneer in such markets as rejected leasehold claims and executory contracts within the bankruptcy claims market, and more recently has become a leader in the trading of administrative priority claims. Mr. Koltai has contributed to scholarly articles relating to bankruptcy claims trading and has lectured at various industry forums, conferences and business schools. Mr. Koltai received a B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1986, and a law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 1991.
