Ms. Ashurova has vast experience in the mortgage industry with a focus in distressed asset management. Her expertise includes loan trading, portfolio pricing, loss mitigation and asset management, with a focus on delivering favorable returns. At EvestMAC LLC, Ms. Ashurova is in charge of running operations for a $200M portfolio of distressed loans. Ms. Ashurova joined EvestMAC from Merrill Lynch where she managed a portfolio of $4 billion in mortgage-backed securities investments. As Vice President of Residential Mortgage Portfolio Credit Risk Management and Servicing Surveillance, Ms. Ashurova developed and implemented a multi-servicing Surveillance Platform and a Credit Risk Management reporting structure. She was responsible for all areas of servicing oversight including asset management, collections, loss mitigation, foreclosures, bankruptcies and REO turnover. Ms. Ashurova earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Moscow State University, Russia.
