Ludus Tours Signs Agreement with “The Colbert Report”
Ludus will be responsible for accommodating "The Colbert Report" staff when they are in Vancouver taping pieces for their show during the 2010 Winter Games. As part the agreement, Ludus will also execute the on-site hospitality needs of the popular show.
Vancouver, Canada, January 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Not all Canucks are prepared to lock out their friendly American neighbours. In the land of igloos and anti-freeze, Ludus Tours has secured a safe haven for host Stephen Colbert and the rest of "The Colbert Report" team during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games. As part of an agreement signed recently, Ludus will execute the on-site hospitality needs of the popular show.
Ludus will be responsible for accommodating "The Colbert Report" staff when they are in Vancouver taping pieces for their show during the Games. "The Colbert Report" recently announced it will sponsor the US Speed Skating team and raised $40,000 in the first 24 hours. Ludus is also a sponsor of US Speed Skating. “We were pretty excited to be able to help out 'The Colbert Report' people,” Adam Dailey, Ludus’ Managing Director said. “I think his presence in Vancouver is going to be one of the highlights of the Games. To be able to help them as well as US Speed Skating is a good feeling.”
Ludus Tours is also the official tour operator for the Jamaican Bobsleigh Federation, US Bobsled and Skeleton Federation, Canadian Freestyle Skiing Federation, US Figure Skating, USA Luge, and the Canadian Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation. They have accommodations and travel packages throughout Downtown Vancouver and nearby Whistler Village. “We were pleased to find out that there was a company out there that could help us with hotel rooms and such at this late juncture,” Tanya Bracco, Supervising Producer of the Colbert Report, recently said.
With less than 60 days until the start of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, Ludus continues to ramp up their Vancouver Games offerings with last minute specials. Visit www.VancouverTours2010.com for more information.
