Bill Kammerer, Experienced Silicon Valley Entrepreneur, Joins SunPods as CEO
Mr. Kammerer brings a wealth of startup and financing experience. His experience includes setting in place the business structures for growth at salesforce.com and in arranging 3rd party financing partnerships for customers at Cisco.
San Jose, CA, January 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- SunPods Inc., a company delivering modular, fully integrated and tested solar power generation systems to customer sites, has announced that Bill Kammerer has joined SunPods as CEO effective 1/1/10.
“As we saw interest in SunPods explode, it became clear that we needed a CEO with the right Silicon Valley experience to build the company. Bill has had a hand in building two Silicon Valley success stories: salesforce.com and Cisco. In both cases he was involved in helping the companies set up internal operations and financial structures for partners. As SunPods grows, we look to his experience to expand our manufacturing facilities and grow our sales channel through partnerships with suppliers and capital equipment financing groups” Dan Jaeger, President and co-founder, explained. “We had to find the right person,” added Michael Gumm, EVP and co-founder. “Dan and I have been in the solar business for a long time and we understand what it takes to build a reliable and cost effective product.
