Artist Aldo Becci Merges Art with Quio Software
Quio – Digital Paper Products is thrilled to announce a new partnership with artist Aldo Becci. Combining Quio’s digital paper platform and Mr. Becci’s original works of art to create Desktop Digital Becci eCards.
Bangor, ME, January 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Digital Becci eCards enable a Windows user to install a desktop application pre-loaded with Becci’s original art in the form of an electronic note card. Unlike the web’s ubiquitous ecards, Quio Desktop eCards sit directly on an individual’s computer allowing the user to quickly send a thank you note, greeting, or other card directly to the recipients inbox. The software removes the hassle of going online and searching for a card, only to have the recipient log onto a site to retrieve it.
“Aldo Becci is excited to have his artwork available on Quio Digital eCards”, says John Becci, Aldo’s marketing manager and son. “Now you can quickly and easily send a beautiful work of art with a personalized note.”
Becci’s artistic portfolio includes a wide range of award winning contemporary graphic art designs. While many people believe his graphic designs were created on a computer, they were all drawn by hand. Some of the designs include over 3,000 lines.
The floral and herb/spice designs were originally created by Aldo for the New York Botanical Garden , and have been updated over the years. These images have adorned ceramic tiles and cookware and have been sold in most major United States department stores and have appeared as illustrations in the pages of major magazines and publications.
Mr. Becci is active in numerous art societies and exhibitions around the Washington , D.C. area. His wide variety of artistic endeavors span more than half a century and include working with Industrial Designer Russell Wright. He is a graduate of Parsons School of Design, and continued his education at the Museum of Modern Art – Peoples Art Center, New York University, Northern Virginia Community College and the University of Virginia .

The Quio platform is based on hyper-easy to use interfaces which take all the cumbersome nuances of completing simple tasks and doing them for you. For example, Quio software automatically saves what you are doing while you’re not doing anything. Like physical paper, when you stop writing with a pen or pencil, what you are writing is still there. With Quio you don’t have to select “file”, then “save”, then name the file and remember where you saved it. Quio does all of this, and more, intuitively while you’re busy doing other things.
