Naples Invitational Art Fest Brings Area Residents, Artists Together to Benefit Eden Autism Services Florida
Some of the nation’s finest artists will descend on Naples’ Fleishmann Park for the 13th annual Naples Invitational Art Fest to be held on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 30 and 31 at Fleischmann Park, 1200 Fleischmann Blvd., Naples.
Naples, FL, January 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Some of the nation’s finest artists will descend on Naples’ Fleishmann Park later this month, displaying and selling their wares ranging from oil, acrylic and water color paintings, blown glass, turned wood pieces, sculptures, jewelry to a variety of mixed media. They’re coming to town for the 13th annual Naples Invitational Art Fest to be held on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 30 and 31 at Fleischmann Park, 1200 Fleischmann Blvd., Naples.
Festival Director Jill Spanbauer spends the year trolling the country for the best and brightest new talent and brings them to Naples, alongside local artists and well-known names. A lifelong art lover, she owns a gallery near her summer home in Wisconsin and previously owned a gallery on Broad Street in Naples.
“We’ve had well-known artists from around the country exhibit at our previous shows,” Spanbauer says. “Artists like glassblower Charles Savoie and painters David Gordon and John Long have all attended.” Spanbauer has been the festival director for 12 years.
Once ranked as one of America’s top 10 art shows by industry magazine Sunshine Arts, the festival will include a juried art show, hundreds of artisan booths to browse, and a silent auction. The juried art show will be judged by prominent art collectors, gallery owners, educators and guest artisans.
“The art festival is a major fundraiser for us each year and we greatly appreciate the community’s support,” says Eden Director Armanda Galella. “Many of our staff members and parents, along with other community members, work as volunteers at the event. We’re able to raise needed funds to support developmental and educational programs for our students with autism.”
The Naples Invitational Art Fest is free and open to the public. Donations to enter are welcome.

Time: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days
