Hello Baby, an online baby and nursery shop based in London, is moving to a new office in order to cope with growing sales. The new office remains in trendy Brick Lane and is more than twice the size of the previous premises.
London, United Kingdom, January 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Online baby retailer Hello Baby is kicking off 2010 by more than doubling the size of its office, for what promises to be a hectic year.
East London based online baby shop Hello Baby (www.HelloBabyDirect.co.uk) is moving to a new office in order to cope with growing sales. The new office remains in trendy Brick Lane and is more than twice the size of the previous premises. Hello Baby, which specialises in nursery furniture, baby toys and accessories for babies and toddlers, was founded April 2008 and enjoyed 300% increase in sales in 2009. The new premises will allow the company to increase its product range and employ more staff to deal with demand.
As well as offering more products from well known manufacturers such as Brio, Lamaze and Cosatto, Hello Baby is looking forward to investing in new and more original products. “Our Christmas best-seller was a funky teething toy made out of natural rubber called Sophie the Giraffe, from French manufacturer Vulli, which was a bit of a surprise” said Managing Director Trevor Ginn. “In 2010 we will be seeking out quality, original products from around the world”.
Alongside the office move, Hello Baby will also be launching a revamped website in the first quarter of 2010 and investing in customer services. “In 2010 we will focus on usability and improving the customer experience.” said Trevor Ginn. “We are aiming to make the Hello Baby website super-easy to use and add more resources for our customers such as buying guides and applications”.
Hello Baby is also leading the way with the use of online social media such as Twitter, Facebook and blogging. “Our twitter account has over 600 followers and our iPhone app has had over 20,000 downloads.” said Daphne Garcin, head of eCommerce at Hello Baby. “We have found that social media is a great way to establish a dialogue with our customers and build a community around our website. Overall social media and our iPhone app drive about 20% of the traffic to our website”.
