Caisson Films Debuts Orlando Based "Spare the Rod" Represented by FTS
Directed by Brian Troxell "Spare the Rod" is the latest release from the renamed production company, Caisson films.
Orlando, FL, January 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Caisson Films proudly presents “Spare the Rod”. Directed by Brian Troxell and starring Julie Anne; the movie is the first title released under the film production company’s new name.
Formerly known as Scruffy Ruffian Productions; the independent film company tells the story of Allison, a woman with a seriously troubled past who is place on house arrest. Unfortunately the house is inhabited with the spirit of Karen, a young girl who is desperately trying to get Allison’s attention. A series of events unfolds that result in a terrifying experience for Allison and a satisfying horror experience for the audience.
Director Brian Troxell hopes that “Spare the Rod” will be a viewer favorite for a horror audience that likes to be scared and have fun at the same time. “I wanted to try some things that I haven’t done in my previous films. I always have my audience foremost in my mind and am always asking myself the questions “Is this going to be fun to watch? Is this going to be scary?” I always try to get as much input from horror fans as possible”.
The family oriented production team can’t wait to start their next project. Troxell adds “I’ve got some great ideas that I can’t wait to put together. I love filmmaking and I love getting everyone involved in the process. 2010 is going to be a great year for Caisson.”
