Federal Department Contracting Information Added to FARSmarterBids.com

FARSmarterBids.com offers federal department contracting resources, including 'Doing Business With' guides, spending forecasts, prime & subcontractor lists, Recovery Act information, and other resources to help companies bid on government contracts.

Chicago, IL, January 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- FARSmarterBids.com, an online government contracting information service, announces expanded offerings of federal department contracting resources. These new libraries include 'Doing Business With' guides, spending forecasts, prime and subcontractor lists, Recovery Act information, and other resources obtained straight from the government to help small and large companies bid more knowledgeably on U.S. government contracts.

The new departmental libraries have been made available as part of the service's standard membership subscription.

FARSmarterBids.com is a web service designed to make the federal contracting process simpler and more efficient for current and aspiring prime contractors and subcontractors of all sizes. Currently, federal government contracting information is hosted on hundreds of government websites, making it difficult for firms to find what they need to compete efficiently. The FARSmarterBids service unifies information from across the federal government into one system. In addition to regulatory information, FARSmarterBids.com now offers additional areas of information: procurement research and guides from federal agencies such as the Department of Defense, the U.S. Army, NASA, and the EPA. All of this information can be saved and organized using the FARSmarterBids custom Filing Cabinet system.

The new libraries of federal department resources complement the FARSmarterBids system's easy-to-use databases of government contracting regulations such as the FARS (Federal Acquisition Regulations), DFARS
(Department of Defense FARS), additional FARS supplements, Defense Supply Center clauses, military standards, and more. The new FARSmarterBids departmental libraries expand upon these regulations, helping to explain solicitation and award processes. The libraries help contractors know their customers better, become more familiar with their procedures, and bid more competitively. The libraries also include resources to research new federal customers.

The FARSmarterBids system offers subscription access to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), clauses, standards, a research library of federal department contracting information, custom software to save and organize references to these resources, and custom-designed databases permitting fast and efficient searches. Subscriptions to the FARSmarterBids service are available in a variety of packages.
