Judge Geary Kull has been endorsed by 14 former Cook County Judges in his campaign for Cook County’s 9th Judicial Subcircuit. Kull also leads as the candidate with the highest bar association ratings and the only candidate running for the 9th Judicial Subcircuit who has been found highly qualified by the Chicago Bar Association.
Chicago, IL, January 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Judge Geary Kull has been endorsed by 14 former Cook County Judges in his campaign for Cook County’s 9th Judicial Subcircuit. Kull also leads as the candidate with the highest bar association ratings and the only candidate running for the 9th Judicial Subcircuit who has been found highly qualified by the Chicago Bar Association. Judge Kull currently sits as a full circuit court judge in Cook County, having been appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court. Kull was screened by a committee specially appointed by the Chief Justice and comprised of retired judges, law professors, business leaders and highly regarded attorneys. The committee reviewed Kull’s written work, interviewed colleagues, adversaries and judges whom he had appeared before, and read Kull’s impeccable bar evaluations, thus determining that Mr. Kull was qualified. Because of his extensive trial experience, Judge Kull has served in the Domestic Violence Court and the 1st Municipal District Misdemeanor and Felony courts.
Judge Kull was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1974 and has extensive trial and appellate experience. He is highly regarded for his knowledge of the law, legal ability, and outstanding temperament.
