Marlon Familton and Leah Koenig at Collaborative Couples & Family Counseling, LLC in Bellevue Washington Launch a Blog
Marlon Familton, Marriage Therapist and Leah Koenig, parent coach and child therapist at Collaborative Couples & Family Counseling, LLC in Bellevue Washington launch a Blog to raise the veil on what marriage is life for two marriage and family therapists.
Bellevue, WA, January 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Marlon Familton, Marriage Therapist and Leah Koenig, parent coach and child therapist at Collaborative Couples & Family Counseling, LLC in Bellevue Washington announce the launch of a Blog. The plan is to offer readers insight into the relationship struggles of the therapists who help others with their relationships.
Friends, parents, neighbors, everyone has a challenging relationship at times. Many seek therapy to learn tools to better communicate or reconnect after a difficult fight. Yet, how do marriage therapists deal with their issues? How do they use the tools and skills in their relationship? Do they do better?
"When I am sitting with clients, sometimes issues feel obvious. Yet, I know that when I am knee deep in my own relationship and importantly, my own emotions, those tools sometimes go out the window." Familton says. "Our blog is a way to raise the curtain a little. Yeah, it's a little scary."
"I thought the blog was a great idea. Marlon and I have struggles like everyone else. What a great way to grow ourselves and help others too." Koenig says.
The blog entries will alternate between Marlon and Leah and be updated regularly. "Our goal is not to offer a point/counterpoint, but rather our own experiences from our own viewpoints." Familton says.
The blog can be found at www.securelove.net.
