Oregon Chiropractic Association 2010 Winter Convention Features "All-Star" Line Up of Presenters

The Portland-based Oregon Chiropractic Association’s (OCA’s) 2010 Winter Convention will take place Feb. 19 – 21 in Portland. The event will feature a “who’s who” roster of speakers and presenters, many of whom have shaped the profession’s most influential procedures and philosophies. Featured speaker Cami Walker will share about her triumph over Multiple Sclerosis, managing her condition with chiropractic, and her “29-Day Giving Challenge.” She will also sign copies of her book 29 Gifts.

Portland, OR, January 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Portland-based Oregon Chiropractic Association’s (OCA’s) 2010 Winter Convention will take place Feb. 19 – 21 at the Embassy Suites at the Portland Airport (7900 NE 82nd Ave.; OCA room rates are available).

Featured speaker Cami Walker will share inspiration about her personal triumph over Multiple Sclerosis, managing her condition with chiropractic, and her “29-Day Giving Challenge.” She will also sign copies of her book 29 Gifts.

The annual event will feature a “who’s who” roster of national-level D.C. speakers and presenters, many of whom have shaped the profession’s most influential procedures and philosophies.

Content will educate attendees on advanced medical techniques (including accredited Continuing Education (CE) hours), methods to build more successful practices and approaches to share knowledge with the general public and their patients about the benefits of chiropractic care.

The event is open to OCA members and non-members. Speakers Include:
Frederick (Ted) Robert Carrick, D.C., PhD: Founder of the Carrick Institute on Neurology, Dr. Carrick’s lectures in neurology are internationally known. He will speak about “Clinical Neurology for the Practicing Chiropractor.”

Kim Clapp, CA Coach: Ms. Klapp founded the A.C.E. Program (Assistants for Chiropractic Excellence). She will train CAs about "CA Communication Strategies, Teamwork, and Patient Education."

James Cox, D.C., DACBR: Dr. Cox is founder of the “Cox Technique,” one of the leading adjustive techniques in chiropractic medicine since the 1970s. He will instruct about his methodologies.

Reggie Gold, D.C.: The man who has “taken chiropractic and launched it to the stars,” Dr. Gold will share his sophisticated techniques for presentation of the chiropractic concept to potential patients.

Dave Mager: Known for his “Game Face” methodology, Mr. Mager is one of the nation’s most popular motivational speakers. He will inspire attendees about “Harnessing the Spirit of Chiropractic."
