‘Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus’ Still Relevant
In a recent interview with Hot Psychology Magazine, Dr. John Gray, author of ‘Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus,’ discusses the current relevancy of his 1992 blockbuster book.
Grand Rapids, MI, July 18, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Hot Psychology Magazine visited with Dr. John Gray for the July issue of its publication to discuss the need to continue speaking to troubled lovers everywhere, as if the first step to saving a relationship is akin to whipping out an English-to-French dictionary in the middle of Paris.
Gray, a PhD in psychology and human sexuality as well as a renowned expert in communication, believes that “women used to feel the need for men in their lives for survival and security, but not anymore.” Continues Gray: “so higher needs now come into play. My book helps address this new phenomenon between men and women.”
Gray continues to believe that “one of the most powerful ways to change a relationship is through communication.” He additionally feels, however, that there is a more fundamental base, and that is, “The ability to make yourself happy.”
The July issue of Hot Psychology Magazine, currently only available in PDF format via download from its website (www.hot-psychology.com) and available for $2.95 retail per issue ($15.00 for 6-month subscription, $32.00 for a 1-year subscription), is designed to address the issues that “make us human” and is intended for the 18-35ish set from all walks of life and intended for a national audience using talent from across the US and overseas. The publication is managed by entrepreneur and freelance author Jim Idema from Grand Rapids, Michigan and has been “live” since January 2005.
