With 20 closings in 2009 and 21 new listings along with 2 new subdivision construction sites, there is no slowing down The Sally Bowman Team. In fact, the team itself has seen growth. Within the year of 2009 alone, Sally has hired 7 new agents.

This is a far cry from the one woman show that Sally began only a year ago. A REALTOR® since 2003, Sally had no idea that the first year of owning her own agency would be so successful. Like any business owner during these challenging economic times, her goal was simply to pay the bills and stay focused on the business. Sally wasn’t always in real estate. She was previously the manager of RW Hine Hardware in Cheshire, which her family still owns today. “If ever there is a business to learn how to problem solve, it’s a hardware store. Helping customers with everything from paint, to fertilizer, to cleaners, to plumbing, to electrical or tools, I’ve done it all.” It may seem different than the real estate business, but the core values of working hard and providing superior customer service are all the same. “I used to sell the nuts and bolts and everything to fix a house, now I sell the houses,” Sally says.

So what sets Sally Bowman apart from the rest in a challenging market? As the youngest of eight children and the only girl, she had to figure out at an early age how to stand out, be confident, work hard and go the extra mile.
