CASAHL Technology announced today that it is releasing next month a major upgrade of its toolset for analyzing, integrating and migrating Lotus Notes applications to the Microsoft platform. Together with Microsoft, CASAHL has developed a comprehensive migration offering to assist some of the world's largest Notes migration projects in the areas of application assessment, proof-of-concept migration, and training on CASAHL's migration toolset.
San Ramon, CA, January 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- CASAHL Technology, an ISV specializing in analyzing, integrating and migrating collaborative applications, announced today that it is releasing next month a major upgrade of its toolset for analyzing, integrating and migrating Lotus Notes applications to the Microsoft platform including SharePoint, InfoPath, SQL Server, MS CRM, and .NET. More than 700 Lotus Notes enterprise customers are using CASAHL’s Lotus Notes Application Analyzer to analyze their Lotus Notes environment, and more than 1500 Notes enterprise customers are using CASAHL’s flagship product ecKnowledge to integrate and migrate to the Microsoft platform.
“We are seeing growing demand for Notes to Microsoft coexistence and migrations led by demand for Microsoft’s cloud-based applications Exchange Online and SharePoint Online,” said Dr. Harry Wong, CEO of CASAHL Technology. “Our major product releases help organizations make the move cost-effectively so that they can maximize their return on investment.”
CASAHL offers a suite of integrated components to support application analysis, migration and coexistence.
· CASAHL Lotus Notes Application Analyzer 2010 (first released in 2003). The leading analysis system to provide Lotus Notes users a comprehensive understanding of their environment. All of the over 700 customers are using the product to clean up, consolidate and plan their migration project.
· CASAHL ecKnowledge for SharePoint. A part of CASAHL’s flagship product, ecKnowledge version 9.7 (first released in 1997). This product supports drag and drop migration of multiple application types (Notes/Domino, QuickPlace, Dom.Doc, Quickr for Domino, Quickr for Websphere, FileNet, Content Manager, file Systems, etc.) to SharePoint (including SharePoint Online), with automatic SharePoint site provisioning and security.
· CASAHL ecKnowledge Composer. The main component to support migration of multiple application types to the appropriate targets (including SharePoint, InfoPath, SQL Server, enterprise DBMS, .NET, MS CRM, SAP, enterprise CRM, etc.), all without programming.
· CASAHL ecKnowledge Workflow Composer. A declarative workflow builder to allow reconstruction of Notes workflow applications without programming, all in the SharePoint environment.
Joint Microsoft/CASAHL Offerings Gaining Momentum
Together with Microsoft, CASAHL has developed a comprehensive migration offering named The Black Belt Program to assist some of the world’s largest Notes migration projects in the areas of application assessment, proof-of-concept migration, and training on CASAHL’s migration toolset. Introduced on July last year, the Black Belt program is picking up momentum worldwide and is in use in more than 50 Notes enterprises today, with hundreds more in the queue.
Microsoft and CASAHL are also working together to recruit global partners in the Enterprise Notes Migration (ENM) program, a Microsoft global initiative to assist organizations transition from Lotus Notes to the Microsoft platform through migration and/or coexistence. Together, the two companies are training channel partners on Microsoft’s transition methodology and CASAHL’s toolset described above.
Expanded Microsoft Alliance and Recognition
In recognition of their success migrating and integrating Notes users to the Microsoft platform, Microsoft awarded CASAHL as Microsoft 2009 Partner of the Year finalist for Notes Transition. Microsoft ENM also recommends CASAHL’s toolset to customers and partners – specifically for application analysis, migration and co-existence.
“CASAHL is a leading Microsoft ISV Partner, and their new solutions will extend an already impressive lineup of migration technologies that some of the largest Notes customers have trusted to migrate to Microsoft technologies,” said David Scult, general manager in information worker marketing at Microsoft.
