Holbrook, MA, February 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Boston Cedar Introduces Exclusive Northeast Distribution of Abaco Tropical Hardwood Decking and Railing
Boston Cedar proudly introduces the launch of Abaco™ tropical hardwood decking and railing to be exclusively distributed throughout New England, NewYork and Northern New Jersey.
Abaco Decking is always kiln-dried and features a rich consistent mahogany color with a smooth finish on one face and an elegant moulded surface on the other. The moulded surface makes each board slip-resistant during the wet colder months and is cooler on the feet in the warmer months ... an ideal option in the Northeast with seasonal weather fluctuations. Naturally durable, Abaco Decking is highly resistant to insect infestation, rot and it is also highly fire resistant.
Abaco Decking features a slotted edge grooved option which can be secured using the proprietary Abaco hidden fastener which properly gaps each deck board with spacing that allows for naturally occurring expansion and contraction. Abaco non-slotted decking can be fastened by pre-drilling the deck board and installing high quality #7 x 2-1/4" stainless steel trim head screws.
Abaco Decking is competitively priced when compared to Ipe and other tropical hardwood decking offerings and is available in 3/4" or 1" thick boards in widths of 3-1/2" and 5-1/2". Deck boards are always 8' - 20' even length increments and are properly nested in1,000 board foot units. Logical tallies and expert packaging insure consistency from unit to unit.
The Abaco program also features matching kiln dried hardwood components to craft railing designs based on individual preferences.
Real Hardwood . Real Beauty . Real Value
