Strategist at Atlanta based V3 Branding, picked up a bronze Telly award for their TouchMark National Bank "Do more with your money" 30 second origami TV spots.
The commercial features self folding dollar bills that morph into several different shapes. Brief witty copy accompanies the spot which ran across the Southeast. The acclaimed director and producer team of Teresa Drilling and Marilyn Zornado did the studio work in Portland.
"The bank really wanted to break through the clutter of ads out there that shouted promotional rates but didn't really resonate with the consumer," said John Shipley the lead creative director on the account. "Being able to take the origami theme across several advertising and marketing elements really helped brand the bank and set it apart from their local competitors,"commented Steve Haviland the head copywriter at V3 Branding.
"There were several renditions that we took the client through but ultimately this spot was the clear favorite; it looked quite simple but took a special team of production experts to build. We also secured excellent media placements and over $30,000 of added value that enabled us to gain phenomenal reach and frequency," said VP of media and client relations Julie Galich.
