Haven for Haiti - Haven Gastropub to Host Fundraiser for Haiti Earthquake Relief
In association with Mercy Corps, the popular Orange County restaurant will donate all proceeds from the fundraiser to aid earthquake relief efforts.
Fullerton, CA, January 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Please join Haven Gastropub on Monday, January 25th in their fundraising effort to help those afflicted by the recent 7.0 earthquake in Haiti. The quake struck the afternoon of Tuesday, January 12th, killing tens of thousands, and leaving many more injured, and without food or water.
Haven will be donating the entirety of their profits for the day, and its staff will be donating their time along with their gratuities to the earthquake relief fund through a partnership with Mercy Corps. “We’re counting on you to come out and show your support!” says Executive Chef Greg Daniels. “Come, enjoy a craft beer and a bite to eat with your friends, while supporting those that are so desperately in need of our help.”
In the future, Haven will be designating new charities through Mercy Corps. “As a community business, we feel it is our responsibility to do everything we can to help those in need,” says Daniels. “Whether locally or globally, we want to do our part.”
