Zeus Strengthens Management Team with Senior Hires
Cambridge, United Kingdom, January 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Zeus Technology, the only pure software-based application traffic management company, is pleased to announce the appointments of Kosten Metreweli as Chief Marketing Officer, and Pal Kondel as VP Global Sales. These strategic hires will further strengthen Zeus’ senior management team and ensure that Zeus’ industry expertise remains second to none within the application delivery controller (Soft ADC) space.
Kosten Metreweli joins as Chief Marketing Officer. Kosten has more than 15 years experience of high-growth technology companies. He joins Zeus from Tideway Systems, recently acquired by BMC software, where he was VP of Global Marketing. Tideway was one of the fastest growing software companies in the UK, and chosen in 2009 as a World Economic Forum technology pioneer. Prior to this, he was VP of Business Development at Orchestream which IPOed on the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. He will have responsibility for Zeus’ marketing strategy, including brand, marketing communications, demand generation, product marketing, and strategic alliances.
Pal Kondel joins as VP Global Sales, and brings more than 23 years’ experience to the role. Most recently he was responsible for heading up Enterprise Sales on a global basis as Sales Director for Interwoven NEMEA. Prior to Interwoven, Pal worked at Computer Associates for nine years in the UK operation, managing a wide range of business divisions and service offerings, and has also worked at the ICL Group. At Zeus, Pal will be responsible for developing and implementing the global sales strategy, including managing the international sales team, developing revenue streams and taking Zeus’ products and solutions into new markets.
