Elecrama Marks First India Exhibit for Bal Seal
Bal Seal Engineering, Inc., announced this week that it will host its first-ever trade event exhibit in India.
Foothill Ranch, CA, January 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- An established global provider of custom-engineered sealing, connecting, conducting and shielding/grounding solutions with locations in Europe and Asia, Bal Seal said its decision to participate in India’s upcoming ELECRAMA event reflects both its confidence in the country’s power transmission and distribution industry, and its interest in forging new business partnerships there.
“We’ve been interested in exploring opportunities in the growing Indian power market for some time,” Bal Seal Energy Market Manager Shawn Noh confirmed. “ELECRAMA is a great initial step for us, because it’s a widely-respected and recognized trade event. It represents a true convergence of manufacturers and users, and we expect that it will also be a great place to network with potential distributors.”
Noh, who will staff the ELECRAMA exhibit at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from January 20-24, 2010 with the help of sales and management staff from Bal Seal’s Asia office, said that his company will showcase its Canted-coilä spring technology at the event. According to Noh, Bal Seal’s springs offer excellent high and medium current carrying capacity, and their simple, robust design allows engineers and manufacturers to produce smaller, more efficient equipment. Applications for the springs include switches, circuit breakers, busbars, slip ring connectors and cable ends, Noh added.
ELECRAMA attendees can learn more about Canted-coilä spring technology – and the rest of Bal Seal’s custom-engineered connecting, sealing, conducting and shielding solutions – by visiting Stall H6, L18 - Hall 6. Animated sequences featuring the Canted-coilä spring in power transmission and distribution equipment can be viewed before, during and after the ELECRAMA event on Bal Seal's website.
