Mission Viejo, CA, January 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Greg Maguire, Ph.D., CEO and Founder and Ahmed Al-Qahtani, M.D., Ph.D., President and Founder, of A & G Skin Solutions, Inc., a privately held stem cell-based therapeutics corporation based in Mission Viejo, CA, announced the formation of a new company, A & G Therapeutics, Inc. A & G Therapeutics is a wholly owned subsidiary of A & G Skin Solutions and will focus on using its core technology to bring a number of products through the FDA, and other, approval processes for marketing around the world. A first round of funding from private investors will allow several development programs to move forward, including A & G Therapeutic’s patented artificial skin graft, topical eye drops for the treatment of dry eye, and several topical and device products to treat lower extremity diabetic ulcer wounds. To support the new development programs, A & G has moved to new and expanded offices and laboratories in Mission Viejo, CA.
