Xtreme Frozen Yogurt Rewards Carlsbad Community with Free Yogurt, Pro Athletes, Music and Prizes
Hundreds of San Diegans Braved Wind and Rain for Free Frozen Yogurt, Prizes and Autographs.
Carlsbad, CA, January 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Rainstorms didn’t stop frozen yogurt-lovers from indulging in the free treats at Xtreme Frozen Yogurt in Carlsbad on Monday. In addition to free yogurt and toppings, hundreds of community members enjoyed music and prizes from 91X, and the chance to meet skateboarding champion Bucky Lasek and professional MMA fighter Corey Grant. From autographed tee shirts to a Froots gift card and G-Love concert tickets, prizes were awarded to a few lucky attendees.
From November16 – December 18, XFY challenged its customers to donate 150 toys at each store to benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The Carlsbad location exceeded that goal with a total of 180 toys donated. The neighborhood frozen yogurt shop then hosted the free frozen yogurt event on January 18 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. to thank the community for its generosity. “We were able to make a lot of children happy this holiday season,” said Jim Jones, owner of the Xtreme Frozen Yogurt in Carlsbad.
