Born on September 18, 1975 in Benin, Roland Holou holds the Diploma of Rural Development Controller. He is a BS in Agronomy and MS Agricultural Engineering. He worked as a Consultant and Researcher at the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin before migrating to the US where he has lived as a permanent resident since 2003. He is finishing his PhD in Plant, Insect, and Microbial Sciences at the University of Missouri. He authored 3 books on Africa Development. He is member of many professional associations including the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
