With extensive experience in the federal government, including several prominent leadership positions in the White House Office of Homeland Security (OHS) and the U.S. Secret Service, Flyzik’s contribution as a key advisor to dataguise will serve to further its position as a leader in database security. As a member of the dataguise advisory board, Flyzik’s significant achievements and knowledge of security will be leveraged to provide highly-influential strategic guidance.
Flyzik is currently Chairman of the AFCEA International Committee on Homeland Security, a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry, and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security. His previous positions include serving as Senior Advisor to Governor Ridge in the OHS, providing guidance on national strategy and information management, advancing the overall mission of the OHS.

In this role, he provided oversight, strategic planning and management direction on over $3.0 billion in annual information technology and information infrastructure programs within the Treasury and its bureaus. Flyzik also held key IT management positions for the U.S. Secret Service. He was given the Secretary Certificate of Appreciation for his work as a principal policy advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Treasury and is the first government industry CIO to be inducted into the CIO Magazine Hall of Fame.
In addition to his work with the AFCEA International Committee on Homeland Security, Flyzik is also President of The Flyzik Group which specializes in strategic business consulting, performance based contracting consulting and training and thought leadership events. He currently hosts the monthly radio program, The Federal Executive Forum on WFED 1050 AM.
