Amanté – the Italian word for lover – is the brainchild of Monica Day, founder of The Sensual Life, and host of a bi-monthly erotic open mic event, also held at Madame X. “I wanted a way to celebrate Valentines that was fun, playful, and sexy – but didn’t have all the baggage that usually comes with the holiday,” said Day. “So we’re transforming the upstairs of Madame X into what I call a ‘sensual funhouse’ – and focusing on how we really feel things – with our five senses. With its nooks and crannies, and uber-sexy atmosphere, Madame X offers plenty of space to explore. Guests can wander from one experience to another throughout the evening.
