Nu-Heat Honoured at the House of Commons Following Success at the National Training Awards
Honiton, United Kingdom, January 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Nu-Heat Underfloor and Renewables was honoured at an exclusive reception held at the House of Commons on Tuesday 26th January to celebrate its recent success as the National Training Awards’ ‘Winner of the Year 2009’ in the medium employer category.
Skills Minister Kevin Brennan, John Hayes MP, Shadow Minister for Lifelong Learning and Further and Higher Education, Baroness Sharp of Guildford, a Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lords and Chris Humphries CBE, Chairman of UK Skills congratulated the winners of the recent National Training Awards. Each speaker highlighted the importance of investing in training to drive forward the country’s economic recovery. Now in its 24th year, the National Training Awards identify and celebrate organisations and individuals that have achieved really outstanding business and personal success through a commitment to training.
Nu-Heat was awarded the coveted National Training Award ‘Winner of the Year’ in the medium employer category in December 2009. The Award recognised NU-Heat’s work in turning a potential business threat into a revenue-boosting opportunity – by training heating engineers to install the renewable technologies it sells.
