EISC Ltd Bringing UK Bio-Energy Companies Speed Dating in Sweden
A series of events will see companies from all over Europe and the world meet each other during pre-arranged 1-to-1 meetings. Trying to build partnerships in Europe is the aim.

EISC ltd, the holder of the badge Enterprise Europe Network based in Southampton has just won a 2 years contract to organise and bring companies and organisations to 4 matchmaking events around Europe through a European partly funded project.
A matchmaking event is a sort of speed dating tailored to businesses. 30 minutes appointments are organised between companies taking part based on what they are interested to offer or what they are looking for.
Above 100 companies take part on each of these events and in the space of 1 day can have up to 14 organised meetings and plenty of informal meetings during the joint dinner and activities.
The next 4 events are being organised alongside important trade fairs or conferences. In 2010 the companies have the opportunity to attend the event during the World Bioenergy conference taking place in Jonkoping, Sweden.
- 25 – 26 May 2010: World Bioenergy in Sweden
- November 2010, Agromek, in Herning,Denmark
- May 2011, Genera in Madrid, Spain
- November 2011, Ecomondo in Rimini, Italy
Companies interested in the subjects of waste to energy can meet companies and organisations from all over Europe in order to learn about the various other markets, find new technologies to work within the UK, or find partners to expand their operations in Europe.
