OITE, ICT Experts Gear Up for COMEX 2010
With the vision to build a digital society in Oman, organizers of COMEX – the country’s IT, telecom and technology event, OITE, and its COMEX Advisory Committee recently convened to discuss major decisions to boost the capacity and strength of the Sultanate’s largest ICT event.
Muscat, Oman, February 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- OITE’s COMEX Advisory Committee comprises the big names in the ICT sector. Present at the recent meeting were the bigwigs from the Information Technology Authority, Ministry of National Economy, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Microsoft Oman, Nawras, Emax, MG-IT, Mohsin Haider Darwish, Jawad Sultan Technologies, Jumbo Electronics, Zubair Telecommunication & Services, Photocentre, Al-Seeb Technical Establishment, SARCO, Business Software Alliance, and Mazoon, amongst others.
OITE and the COMEX Advisory Committee meeting was aimed at exchanging ideas and generating inputs on how to build a much bigger, better and more valuable COMEX 2010.
COMEX 2010 Exhibition is set to be held from April 26 to 30 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre, while a Conference on ICT will also be organised from April 27 to 28.
According to Sadiq Ahmed Khan, OITE’s Director for Sales and Marketing, “COMEX is a major trade fair in Oman now being organised for twenty years. We are delighted that through the years, COMEX has been an unrivalled platform for ICT companies to converge and showcase their latest products and services.
