Ergonomic Webdezign for Back Care Specialists
North London based Web Development Agency apply the principles of ergonomics to web design and ecommerce.

Mike Yan, Webdezign’s Managing Director commented “Until recently the Back2.co.uk website had been suffering from a range of ‘pains’ caused by a combination of usability, design and technical issues. Our brief was to deliver a site that relieved these pains as well as enhancing its posture!”
The International Ergonomics Association defines “Ergonomics”as “the profession that applies theory, principles, data and methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance.” Active Webdezign applied this way of thinking to the design of Back2’s website.
The previous site offered a poor user experience and search engine optimisation capability was restricted by the design. Back2 employed Active Webdezign to build the new website.
Their requirements were:

· well optimised design with ongoing SEO support
· flexible product options and filtering
· easy video integration
· after sales support
