Founded in 1927, Brookwood Florida is an alternative living environment for vulnerable girls ages 13 to 21. Some girls are in the foster care system, while others are surrendered by their families. The home provides a safe living arrangement where the girls can receive the basic care of food and shelter, as well as the therapy, counseling and training to prepare them for independent living or reunification with her family.
