API Sports Announces Charity Casino Night Proceeds to Benefit the Smiles Through Sports Foundation
Baltimore, MD, February 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- API Sports is hosting a 21-and-over Casino Night Benefit Event for the Smiles Through Sports Foundation, which provides sports experiences for children with special needs. The event will take place on March 27, 2010 at Martin’s West located at 6817 Dogwood Road in Baltimore, MD from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Casino games like Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Poker, Slots, and Wheel of Fortune will be played throughout the night. Although real cash cannot be won, each attendee receives $1000 of “fun money” at the door to play with and exchange for raffle tickets at the end of the night. Raffle items include highly-valued sports memorabilia pieces, such as autographed Muhammad Ali used boxing shorts, a baseball signed by Derek Jeter, autographed Dan Marino jersey and others.
Along with the casino games, the evening includes a bull roast, beer and soft drinks, a cash bar, music and dancing, raffles, and door prizes. A separate Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament for a special memorabilia prize is also available for a $25 cash buy-in.
