From Page to Stage: Sue Lange’s Engaging Sci-Fi Short Stories Come to Life in the Form of Live Theatre
On Saturday, February 27th, Sci-Fi Author Sue Lange teams up with Gary M. Celima to engage moviegoer audiences with “theatre of the mind.”
Lansdowne, PA, February 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Sue Lange’s work has been praised as “irreverent,” “energetic,” “funny,” “thought-provoking,” “delightful,” “sobering,” and “quirky and electric.”
Honoring the grand tradition of “Opening Attractions,” independent movie house Cinema 16:9 moviegoers will be treated to a one-time-only performance of a musical reading by local author Sue Lange. The material will be taken from her brilliant collection of critically praised sci-fi short stories titled “Uncategorized.” (BookViewCafe.com; 2009)
In this thought-provoking performance of eclectic sci-fi short stories, Lange grabs the audience with an aggressive delivery of a beat poet and the timing of a stand-up comedian.
Multi-talented and accomplished musician Gary M. Celima will be providing guitar and vocal music before and after the reading, and even at some points during the reading.
The show will begin at 7:00 pm, Saturday February 27th.
Tickets for the evening range from $20 for the author reading and the movie, or $15 for just the author/music to $7 for the movie alone. The film is TBD, but will be one supporting independent filmmakers. All proceeds will go towards the Cinema 16:9 Movie Theatre. More information plus an alternate “snow date” will be available on Sue Lange’s website: www.suelangetheauthor.com.
