Denver, CO, February 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- "1968 Italia" is the title of 10 24x36 artfully represented vintage slides printed to canvas created by Terri Clauss. The inspiration to create this exhibit came as she continually found beautiful images lost in her and other families' slide collections that were no longer viewable due to fading or the fact that nobody has slide projectors at home anymore. Finding the images and reinterpretiing their composition and form resulted in a delicious eye-buffet of images from a different time and place. When she's not doing digital artwork, find Terri selling Colorado Easy Mix Local Organic Bake Mixes and flour Saturdays at the Urban Homesteading Farmers' Market 200 Santa Fe Drive.
Arco Iris Gallery recently relocated to 510 Santa Fe Drive from its previous location in the South Broadway retail district in an effort to be part of a more art-centered community. Gatherings are free to members and open to the public with a small cover charge.
First Friday art walks offer a new opportunity to artists in the form of the Arte Carnival Art Market - Artists may register for a small fee to display their work during the first Friday art walks- market style. They may bring their work, set up and take it down at the end of the evening. Contact Rosi 303-765-5116 for details.
