85 Year Old Real Estate Brokerage is Back in Business. The Hobin Company Re-Launches After Four Decades of Real Estate Success.

Manhattan Beach, CA, February 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Hobin Company, one of California’s oldest real estate brokerages, is seizing the opportunity of a recovering market and re-launching a family business that spans over four decades of California real estate sales. The company will be based in two major California locations, Manhattan Beach and Palm Desert, and will focus on residential and commercial real estate in those markets. The Hobin Company’s long California track record began when it was incorporated in May of 1925 as the successor to the R.B. Oullahan Company established in 1891 in Stockton.

As of January 1, 2010, long-time Manhattan Beach resident, Molly Hobin, became the 4th generation President and CEO of her family’s firm. She succeeds her father, William K. Hobin, who joined the company in 1964 with his father, William J. Hobin. Molly’s great grandfather, William H. Hobin, was the original President & CEO of The Hobin Company when it was incorporated in 1925.
