Announcing the Banking Information Security Today 2010 Survey
Information Security Media Group Debuts Results of Third Annual Study at RSA Conference on March 1.
Princeton, NJ, February 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Information Security Media Group (ISMG), publisher of BankInfoSecurity.com and CUInfosecurity.com, announces the launch of its third annual Banking Information Security Today survey gauging top trends, threats and priorities for financial institutions.
This web-based research study, created by ISMG with the counsel of banking and security leaders from across the U.S., explores how banking/security leaders are responding to today’s key banking issues, including:
- Fraud
- Vendor management
- Data breaches
- Regulatory compliance
- Social networking
- Other relevant topics
The survey goes live on February 4. Survey results will be unveiled at the RSA Conference 2010 in March 1 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. This will be the second straight year for the survey results to be featured at this premiere information security event.
Following the RSA Conference, survey results will be presented in a variety of ways across BankInfoSecurity.com and CUInsoSecurity.com, including an executive summary, annotated report, podcast analysis and a webinar in which survey respondents will be invited to listen to exclusive insight and analysis.
“Conducting this survey for the third time, we really get to see how banking and security concerns have evolved,” says Tom Field, Editorial Director of BankInfoSecurity.com. “In past years, our research has identified customer confidence, vendor management and education/awareness as key concerns long before subsequent news events put the spotlight on them. We expect this year’s results to identify exactly the issues that matter most to banking/security leaders in 2010.”
Banking Information Security Today is an annual study, giving industry members and analysts insight that they can track and measure over time. Results are analyzed and disseminated through a variety of electronic media, including whitepapers, audio interviews and webinars.
