Your Door & More Illustrator Selected as New Hope Valley Railway Artist in Residence
Holly Springs, NC, February 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Your Door & More (www.yourdoorandmore.com) has announced that owner and illustrator Brenda Priest is serving as artist in residence at New Hope Valley Railway and Railroad Museum in New Hill, N.C. As artist in residence, Priest creates pen-and-ink renderings of the cabooses and engines of the railway’s historic trains. The first illustration she completed and donated to the organization was of the diesel engine #17. A print of the illustration is in the gift shop for sale in 8” x 10” format or in a 5” x 7” format. Her upcoming illustration plans include the Railway Post Office Car #188, Caboose #335 and the barn.
