MatchPoint Announces New VP of Marketing

Toronto, Canada, February 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Toronto-based franchise consulting network MatchPoint is pleased to announce the addition of Victoria I. Conte to its corporate team as vice president of marketing.

Conte, a former Toronto resident, comes to MatchPoint with more than 20 years experience developing unique marketing and sales strategies for several well-known companies. As the president of The Victoria Group Marketing, Inc., which launched in September 1989, Conte represented clients such as Dow Jones, Inc., SUCCESS Magazine, Income Opportunities, Working Woman, monster.com and USA TODAY. Her expertise in the development of strategic marketing plans, branding strategies and implementation of budgets and timelines resulted in doubling and tripling revenue for many of these brands. As a result of her successful media representation of SUCCESS and Working at Home for more than 10 years, Conte was brought on as president and publisher of SUCCESS Publishing, Inc. in January 2000 where she managed all sales and marketing activities and was responsible for re-launching SUCCESS Magazine, a 110-year-old publication, in June 2000. Two years later, Conte repositioned The Victoria Group Marketing, Inc. where she continued to lend her expertise in all areas of marketing and sales development for a number of clients.

Additionally, Conte is a veteran in the franchise community where she has aided in the creation and improvement of marketing and franchise sales strategies for companies such as Mart Franchise Venture LLC and Canada-based FACES Cosmetics Company. Conte has also been a member of the International Franchise Association for more than twenty years where she served on numerous committees.
