Author to Award Financial Assistance to Deserving Families

A Florida author is giving back to help families in need. With his new book, Saving Your American Dream, finance professional Jason Biro launches a campaign to provide direct financial assistance and one-on-one advice to help families save their homes and rebuild their finances.

West Palm Beach, FL, February 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- As the economy flatlines and unemployment remains high, many families are faced with the threat of foreclosure, depleting finances, and an uncertain future. It’s not a pretty picture. But for mortgage industry veteran Jason Biro, it’s been motivation to provide families with much-needed help.

In his new book, Saving Your American Dream: How to Secure a Safe Mortgage, Protect Your Home, and Improve Your Financial Future, Biro launches a two-part campaign to provide the knowledge—and the direct financial assistance that’s needed—to help readers with their mortgages, homes, or finances.

Biro’s book provides step-by-step guidance to help families find the right loan, protect their homes from scams and foreclosure, and rebuild their credit and finances. And it also offers families some extra financial help.

Biro invites readers to tell him their own story. “Tell me about yourself, your job, or your home,” says Biro. “Let me know how I can help.” From these stories, individuals and families will be chosen to receive ongoing advice and financial assistance, thanks to a fund Biro has established from book profits and sponsor funding.

Selected readers will be awarded financial assistance and funding to help with their mortgage or rent payments, to prevent or stop foreclosure, or to rebuild their finances so they can get back on their feet again.

“Our goal simply is to help as many people as we can, in as many ways as we can,” said Biro.

The need for help couldn’t be greater. As a finance professional and owner of a residential lending firm in Florida, Biro has witnessed the fallout from the housing markets and the economy firsthand—and the devastating effect it’s had on families.

“Today, almost everyone is worried in some way about their home or finances,” said Biro. “But many people don’t know what they can do to improve their situation, and they don’t know where they can go for help. It’s my job to provide this information so it’s easy to understand and accessible. Having the right information is empowering. It can help people change their lives.”

Biro credits the positive response the book has received to the fact that, ultimately, his message is about paying it forward and helping others.

“Readers know they are not only helping themselves with the book, they’re also helping out someone else, too,” said Biro. “The more people who read the book, the more people we can help. And that’s something we can all feel good about.”

Biro’s campaign begins with a series of book signings and community events. Biro will speak about his campaign, answer questions about home and personal finance, and meet with readers one-on-one.

“2009 was a tough year for everyone,” said Biro. “Our goal is to make 2010 better for as many as we can.”
