New Book Explores How History Reveals that the Judeo-Christian Faith Played an Important Role in the Decisions of Some of the World’s Greatest Military Leaders

In its growth, the Roman Catholic Church adopted the Scholastic mode of study in which the thought process was directed toward a preconceived conclusion. Under the Scholastic mode of thinking, military commanders could not reason logically. The Reformation of the Judeo-Christian Faith initiated by Martin Luther loosed the mental chains of Scholasticism that bound the thought process and impeded unfettered reasoning. To be sure, there have been many great captains of history who did not believe in the Judeo-Christian Faith. "Great Captains of the Faith" portrays the lives and battles of ten great military commanders who did follow the Judeo-Christian Faith.
