Epicurean Ways Offers Classic Spanish Food and Wine Trip in 2010

Charlottesville, VA, February 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Epicurean Ways is offering a culinary trip to explore classic Spanish food and wine from Andalucía and Madrid. Traditional Spanish cuisine will be tasted and prepared in two of Spain's famously food-centric cities: Madrid and Sevilla.

Travelers will have the opportunity to work closely with two well known Spanish chefs creating classic dishes and tapas during private cooking classes.

Walking tours of Seville, Córdoba, Madid and Toledo will feature the rich historical context and legacy of Moorish and Jewish Spain in the architecture and the gastronomy. Visits to Sherry bodegas in Sanlúcar and wineries near Ronda will highlight Spain's traditional as well as modern winemaking. Two tapas tours with chefs and culinary specialists will showcase the wide range of "small plates" available in Seville and Madrid. A visit to a traditional olive oil mill near Sevilla is included in the trip.
