Dinuba Chamber of Commerce to Host 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Dinuba, CA, February 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Dinuba Chamber of Commerce and area businesses are picking up their clubs to help fund future Dinuba events and projects. The 2nd Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Dinuba Ridge Creek Golf Club brings together a variety of organizations. Chamber members, local businesses, residents, City & County staff and dignitaries, non-profit organizations, civic groups, and golf enthusiasts, will help raise funds to support these groups throughout the year.

The tournament will be a “four person scramble” featuring maximum handicaps for men and women, and guaranteed mulligans. Registration for the tournament is $100 per player for a 4 person team. The tournament also boasts a $1000 grand prize (cash and prizes) for the 1st place team, with special prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. Other special prize opportunities include: hole-in-one on all par 3’s, closest to the pin on all par 3’s, longest drive - men & women, beat the pro, and a Vegas hole. Check-in time is 7:00 am with a shotgun start at 9:00 am, and an awards lunch at 2:00 pm. The deadline for registration is April 2nd, 2010. Teams which submit a paid early registration by March 16, 2010 will be entered to win a round of golf for 4, complete with golf cart.

Sponsorship opportunities are currently available at various levels, from $100 to $2,500. Those interested in supporting local businesses by sponsoring the event should contact the Chamber office as soon as possible to be included in early promotions.
