The Poetrydances.com website is returned on Page One of Google.com, Yahoo.com and the other main search sites for many standard poetry related searches. Searches such as Great Poetry Networks (Google) and Great Poetry (Yahoo), along with many others. A complete list of these searches is shown on the Site itself. This kind of visibility offers the potential for increased exposure for writers and poems shown on the Site.

The Poetry Network, [Poetrydances.ning.com], also enjoys strong visibility on the main search engines in its own right. The Network has recently introduced member voting on poems which has allowed members to become involved with choosing the poems which are posted on the main Poetrydances.com site.

The voting system, named Votecast, is a monthly contest feature of the Site which offers members a chance to better see how their writing is being received by others. This is beyond the feedback currently available from the 'replies' feature available on poems posted on the Site. It also gives members a controlled arena for some friendly competition. The other benefit of Votecast is as mentioned, that a percentage of members with the highest scoring poems each month will have their poems linked and listed on the main Site at Poetrydances.com (this includes a poem of the month selection).

Poetrydances.com also accepts general read requests, which allow its staff to visit and read the work of specific writers on various poetry sites or blogs across the Internet.
