Los Angeles, CA, February 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In 2009, the Love Cures Cancer Charity raised $10,000 for CHLA and used it to deck out their Radiology Waiting Room with their "Waiting Rooms Suck!" campaign (which included the latest in flat screen TVs, DVD players, DVDs, books, learning tools, and a $4,300 mobile Wii gaming system good for 10 years), donated a $10,000 Body Mass Index analyzer from BioSpace America, and brightened the smiles on their kids in treatment with $3,600 worth of brand new toys donated this past December with the "Holiday Cheers" party.

Now, in 2010, the goal is to donate a $150,000 electronic bed inventory management system that will remove the bottleneck of LA County child patient monitoring and transporting amongst all 7 hospitals (digitally manages 269 beds at CHLA and 10 to 17 beds at each of the six surrounding hospitals).
