Despite the downturn in the overall U.S. retail sales, Internet research company COM Score Inc. reported that overall online sales spiked 4 percent to $913 million on “Cyber-Tuesday” not Cyber-Monday. For the record Cyber-Monday was the second busiest day of the Holiday season. PcPools Marketing Director Ted Robinson had this to say, “While our product line is not a traditional fourth quarter product line, PcPools continues to experience increased traffic and sales in the fourth quarter over 2008 levels. We see this as extremely encouraging development for PcPools and we continue to hope that it will remain positive.” Traditional brick and mortar retailers continue to see sluggish retail sales for the entire year. Robinson continued, “Online consumers are very sophisticated and are increasingly looking for the convenience of at home delivery with free shipping.
