UBS Terrestrial Repeater system is a fusion of proven principles and solutions, combined with recent advancements in technology relating to thermal management and digital signal processing. The implementation of innovative concepts, in conjunction with their extensive knowledge and experience in the design and development of complete repeater equipments allowed them to develop a new generation of Terrestrial Repeaters, which are more efficient and reliable, while supporting all the features required in functionality and serviceability.

The DVB-SH 200W Digital Mobile Broadcast Terrestrial Repeater is fully designed and manufactured by UBS. Its concept is based on a modular design that incorporates the power amplifier capable of delivering 200W output power, the exciter, the output filter, the output coupler and RF detectors into a compact outdoor housing. The exciter itself integrates the DVB-SS2 satellite receiver, the UBS universal modulator activated with the DVB-SH waveform, the up-converter to broadcast an Sband signal and the main controller system. The innovative universal modulator is capable of supporting all leading broadcasting standards. It is the most advanced platform available in the market, supporting eight waveforms such as DVB-T, DVB-H, DAB/T-DMB, ATSC, ISDB-T/Tb, DTMB, DVB-SH and CMMB.
