Voices.com Moves Into One of the Greenest Buildings in Canada
Digital media company Voices.com moves into the brand new Convergence Centre at the University of Western Ontario’s Research Park.
Toronto, Canada, February 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The realization of a dream embodiment of environmentally poetry in motion, the newly built Convergence Centre at the University of Western Ontario’s Research and Development Park is a gem on the Canadian landscape. Surrounded by beautiful forests and vegetation native to Southwestern Ontario, Voices.com is situated in scenic vistas within close proximity of the Thames River. The 65,000 square foot, 19.5 million dollar building christened “The Convergence Centre,” is living up to its name by providing an area where people, their ideas and discoveries converge to serve the people of London and the world.
Although Voices.com moved in on Friday January 29th, 2010 the building project and move had been years in the making. Director of the Research Park, Joel Adams, has been working closely with the companies and researchers who now inhabit this progressive and eco-conscious facility including the CEO of Voices.com, David Ciccarelli. One of the first multi-tenant “Green Buildings” in Southwestern Ontario, the Convergence Centre is also one of the most advanced, most research intensive and energy efficient commercial/laboratory buildings in Canada.
Voices.com Chief Executive Officer, David Ciccarelli, says, “Participating in the official opening of the Convergence Centre was a wonderful experience. We are very pleased and look forward to getting to know our fellow tenants better. Our customers have also been very supportive of Voices.com during the move for which we are grateful.”
