San Ramon, CA, February 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Blinkers On Racing Stable gives fans of horse racing the opportunity to own a stake in a promising thoroughbred purchased from one of the 2 year old in training sales that begin in February every year. As the first major auction begins this month, Blinkers On thoroughbred buyer, Greg Gilchrist, will be looking to purchase a champion from the racehorses for sale at OBS, Fasig-Tipton and Barretts. Greg and his Blinkers On team will evaluate pedigree, conformation and athleticism of thousands of racehorses for sale.

After completing the auction circuit, Gilchrist and the other Blinkers On trainers begin the process that gets each new horse purchased ready to compete at one of the major racetracks in California.

Shares of the horses are then made available for purchase as part of a racehorse partnership. Purchasing a 5% or 10% share in a horse gives the partner all the thrills of ownership without bearing all of the costs and risks. 5% shares in a Blinkers On partnership are generally in the range of $2,500 to $12,500 with quarterly expenses estimated at $500. Partners in turn will receive their share of purse earnings and revenues of the eventual sale. As they say at Blinkers On, “all the thrills without all the bills”.
