Clean Air Cab Responds Swiftly to Toyota Prius Recall
Clean Air Cab completes recall maintenance on it's entire fleet of cabs in under 24 hours.
Phoenix, AZ, February 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- On February 9, 2010 Clean Air Cab received word that an official recall was being issued on the 2010 Toyota Prius. Since the fleet of 25 vehicles operated by Clean Air Cab is comprised of the vehicle targeted by the recall, company management has been in constant communication with Toyota Motor Corporation to immediately remedy the issue.
In just under 24 hours the entire fleet of cars was inspected by the local Toyota dealers. Maintenance per Toyota’s recall guidelines has been performed to ensure safety.
All of their taxicabs were through the recall by noon on February10, 2010.
"The safety of our customers and drivers is paramount," said Steve Lopez, owner of Clean Air Cab. "We will only allow vehicles that have been properly inspected to get back on the road in service as taxicabs.
